The individual night's competition results and the aggregate scores over the course of the year so far can be found in the club's monthly newsletter. The league result for the year 2000 can be found on this page.
The topics for Special Subject Colour Slides are set at the beginning of the year. For 2002 they are listed above. These photographs must be taken in Hong Kong or Macau. Photographs for all other categories (Open subject colour slides, colour and black and white print) have no restrictions. Competitions
There are a number of new members and visitors joining us making it opportune to review the competition procedures:
Images are awarded up to 20 points by the judge based on whatever criteria the judge feels are important. These criteria depend on the judge and the subject matter. Scoring can be very subjective sometimes! Good judges also explain the reasoning behind their marking.
